Doctor Hormone was a scientist who injected himself with a 'youth hormone' that restored vigor to his body, appearing to be 25 years old, but in reality being an old man of 75. The good doctor and his granddaughter, Jane, traveled to the Nation of Novoslavia where he continued his experiments financially supported by their tyrannical rulers. Among the many aberrations he created in Novoslavia were human-animal hybrids. After World War II he returned to the United States as an 'investigator' for the United States Army in a bunker at Fort Knox. Doctor Hormone was later summoned by a disembodied voice that lured him and Jane into a mysterious gorge where they descended into Chaos and fell into a state of suspended animation in which they have remained ever since.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Doctor Hormone was a scientific genius who developed chemical compounds, hormones and enzymes with which he was able to alter the normal functions of the human body, for example restoring youth or transforming human beings into strange animal hybrids. In Novoslavia, the good doctor used a hormone to accelerate the growth of young boys and turn them into men to enlist in the army as soldiers. Doctor Hormone was also able to imbue himself with powers including superhuman strength, sonic scream, or super breath, although these abilities were only temporary.
