The mystery man known as the Black Spider was actually Ralph Nelson, a fearless young district attorney. Only his beautiful secretary, Peggy Dodge, knew his secret. The Black Spider became the scourge of crime in Ace City. He eventually formed an alliance with other mystery men of his time, founding the cabal known as The Vanguard.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Ralph Nelson had no powers, but he was a good fighter and
he used special darts instead of bullets. He basically used four types of poison, extracted from different types of spiders: Paralyzing poison (1), Intense pain (2), Terrible Hallucinations (3) and Death Sentence (4).
