SKY CUBE CREW

HISTORY 

William "Doc" Kinney (astrobiologist) is the leader of a group of space explorers from Earth who travel to distant planets. To achieve this they use an anti-matter-powered device capable of folding space, allowing travel to interstellar distances. The vehicle they travel in is shaped like a cube and that is why they call it the Sky Cube, and they are known as the Sky Cube Crew. Second in the group is John W. Smith, "Smitty", the group's engineer and responsible for developing the anti-matter engine that powers the Sky Cube. The third member is Wilhelmina Jackson, nicknamed Billie, an archaeologist. The fourth member is Gustav "Gus" Van Emmon, the group's geologist and Olympic medalist in wrestling and weightlifting. Billie and Gus established a romantic relationship that culminated in marriage. Their first mission was to the planet Makkary, where they discovered the fearsome Strokor, the Lord of Death. 

Their second mission took them to Vynash, where they encountered a race of androgynous beings with psychic abilities who dwelled under crystalline domes that protected their cities from Vynash's toxic atmosphere. All members of the Sky Cube Crew possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and training as astronauts. Doc is a trained physician as well as an astrobiologist. As well as being an engineer, Smitty is good with mechanics, both native to Earth and alien. Billie is trained to decipher ancient languages, objects and cultures. And Gus can identify underground and surface resources like oil and minerals... And he's a rock hard guy.
