HISTORY 

Dr. Seymour Savage was an inventor without moral scruples who designed and built a helmet that allowed its wearer to travel through time. Savage used his assistant, Miss Arkady, as a human guinea pig. The young woman was transported to a dystopian future where she was mugged and murdered. Her killer donned the helmet and was transported to another point in the future, to an Earth at war, where he was forced to trade the helmet for access to an underground shelter. The new wielder time-jumped into the future, to a ruined Earth, devastated by a horrific plague, and he was eaten alive by mutants. One of the creatures put on the helm and was thrown into the future, where it was captured by a tribe of cavemen. They removed the helmet from the spawn and shortly after the helmet activated automatically and returned to the starting point, to the laboratory of dr. Savage. With all the information collected and his invention tested, the good doctor decided to start a lucrative criminal career becoming the Chronarch.
