Craig Carter was the son of an archaeologist who saved the life of an egyptian man named Say-Aben Touman.
The man later sent Craig a magic ring in gratitude.
When the kid rubs the ring it calls forth any mythological figure such as Zeus, Apollo, Thor, Pluto of Hades and Mercury. He can also summon legendary beasts such as Pegasus who Craig liked to use for transportation.
Craig decided to use the magic ring to become a crime fighter.
