HISTORY 

May, 1941. 

Larry Davis was a successful comedian. June Farrell, his girlfriend and manager, prepared a publicity stunt to further increase his popularity. Wearing a funny costume and a fake rubber nose, Larry would pretend to stop a fake robbery carried out by his assistant, Happy. However, on the chosen day, there was an actual robbery, and Larry managed to catch the criminal using a siphon bottle. 

Larry enjoyed his vigilante experience and told June and Happy that they won't reveal that he was the one who stopped the robbery. Larry became The Funnyman, Empire City's newest (and only) mystery man. When crime hits Empire City, Commissioner Harrigan lights up the Fun-Torch, located on the roof of the police headquarters... And the fun begins! 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

Larry's fighting style resembles a mix of drunk boxing and slapstick... Kind of. The Funnyman uses a variety of special equipment, all with a joke theme. He drives the Fun-Van and has his own secret lair in an abandoned amusement park, the Fun-House.
