HISTORY 

July 4, 1940. The mythical Liberty Bell rang again after nearly a century, awakening the ghost of a Revolutionary War minuteman known only as the Sentinel. The Sentinel is the living embodiment of the best of the American spirit and a champion of freedom. The Sentinel used his powers to fight crime and all other enemies of America. He was the founder and leader of The Liberty Guards, and was also a member of the Battle Squadron during World War II. Where and when the United States needs it, the Sentinel and his Liberty Guards will appear.
