HISTORY 

November, 1941. 

Billy Lackington, son of one of the richest men in New York City, decides to use his archery skills to become a modern "Robyn Hode". At first Billy had the help of a group of street kids - Fatso, Shorty and Freckles - who served as his Merry Boys. Robyn and his gang operated out of a secret base hidden in Central Park. 

When Freckles died, Billy disbanded the Merry Boys and joined forces with the vigilante known as The Hood, forming the duo Robyn & the Hood. The duo teamed up with other heroes to form a team called The Outlaws. During World War II, The Outlaws joined all the other heroes of their time to fight the Nazis forming The Battle Squadron. 

After the War, The Outlaws were abducted by the Domain and Billy did not reappear until the early 1980s, when he joined The Tyro Team.
