HISTORY 

Dr. Jackson, Harry's father, created an American champion, the artificial man named Yankee Doodle Jones. Harry became the Dandy and together the two joined the Outlaws, the Battle Squadron or the Crime Smashers. They fought against the Nazis in WWII, against crime and supervillains on the streets of Dynamic City and shared many more adventures. Much later, Harry received the death touch of the Black Hand and Yankee Doodle Jones, seeing the life of his protégé in danger, sacrificed himself so that Harry could live.

Harry's consciousness was transferred to Yankee Doodle Jones' android body. Paradoxically, doing so Harry became virtually immortal. Yankee Doodle Jones' mind also survived, in his case as a disembodied cyber-entity still giving advice to Harry. After a period of adaptation to his new body, Harry resumed his heroic career under the Liberty Man alias, helping found and fund the Young Heroes Alliance, establishing his base of operations at the Liberty Foundation Headquarters in Dynamic City.

Liberty Man dated Danni Miller, daughter of cartoonist detective Pen Miller, and niece of Danny (Djinni) Miller (and heir to the Magic Ring).

HISTORY 

Sir Brian was a valiant knight of King Arthur's court who wore an armor and a sword both enchanted by Merlin, the Druid. He fought alongside the other Knights of the Round Table, such as Sir Gawain and Sir Kay, against the Saxons and the Vandals. When the Saxons were driven out and the Pax Arthuriana prevailed, he met his strength against evil knights, warlocks, and monsters like the Barghest. His lady was Tarna, a brave warrior in her own right who often aided him in battle and once wore the enchanted silver armor herself. 

Sir Brian chased Black Barton, a diabolical wizard, through a time vortex that led him to the 1930s where he joined other heroes to form The Outlaws. When Sir Brian returned to Camelot (in the past) he found that Lady Tarna had married another knight and, feeling that was no longer his place, he returned to the 20th century, where he was part of the Battle Squadron. There he would meet his future wife, Susan Page, aka Flame-Girl.

The enchanted armor made him incredibly resistant to damage and the silver sword was capable of cutting through virtually any substance. His steed was the peerless Mordru, endowed with intelligence unmatched among horses.

When their respective enemies came together to blame them for crimes they had not committed, the Night Rider, the Silver Paladin, Robyn and the Hood, Yankee Doodle Jones and Dandy and White Mask and his chauffeur Tago, they became outlaws and taking that name teamed up to clear their name and catch the real culprits.

HISTORY 

November, 1941. 

When danger or outlaws threatened Lincoln City, Rancher Jim Larrimore donned a black hood and became the Night Rider. The Night Rider had a Pinto horse named Lightning, named for the lightning bolt-shaped stain on his forehead. During his career as vigilante, he has had several companions: a mariachi named Diego, a young Native American named Bright Feather, or Texas, the laziest man and the fastest revolver in the west. The Night Rider also collaborated with Sheriff Hank Fletcher.

HISTORY 

Simon Fisher was the son of a renowned and wealthy surgeon. Simon studied medicine, but preferred to pursue archery. 

In 1936 the Spanish Civil War broke out and Simon joined the International Brigades. Back home, Fisher found that his father had been murdered and, following in the footsteps of the legendary Robyn Hode, he became a hooded vigilante (The Hood) to avenge his father. His butler, Tucker, is his main ally on his personal crusade. 

As the Hood, Fisher used his skill with the bow to foil crimes and stop saboteurs. Elaine Barton, a nurse who worked with her father, became her romantic interest. 

Simon would eventually team up with young Billy Lackington, aka Robyn. Simon and Billy joined other masked heroes to form the Outlaws. 

During World War II the Outlaws joined the rest of the American heroes to form the Battle Squadron and after the end of the conflict the Outlaws were abducted by the Dominion...

HISTORY

By day, Steve Saxon was the editor of the Daily Blade, but every night he donned a white hat and trench coat and became the masked detective known as the White Mask. 

He was called "Defender of the People" and "self-appointed foe of ruthless dictators". 

His sidekick was his Asian chauffeur and friend, Johnny Tago, aka Filipino Kid. 

White Mask and his partner were part of the Outlaws, and during World War II, the Battle Squadron.

Steve didn't have any superpowers, but he had a huge fortune with which to finance the best crime-fighting gear. He was also a good detective and a skilled fighter. As White Mask, he carried a gun that fired knockout gas and wore a bulletproof vest under his costume. Johnny Tago for his part was an expert in Filipino kali, a true living weapon.

HISTORY

October, 1941. 

At the start of World War II, three veterans who had been crippled during the Great War volunteered their lives to create a champion to defend the United States. Dr. Jackson's artificial man came to life shortly after Nazi agents attacked the scientist's laboratory, fatally wounding him before the android himself and Harry, the scientist's son, stopped them. With his dying breath, Professor Jackson named his creation Yankee Doodle Jones and begged Jones and his son to protect America. Harry became the Dandy, and the duo devoted their entire lives to fighting the Nazis. They were part of the Crime Smashers, the Outlaws, and the Battle Squadron. 

Much later, Dandy received a mortal wound and Jones gave him his synthetic body so that Harry could survive. Yankee Doodle Jones's mind also survived, in his case as a disembodied electronic entity advising Harry. 

POWERS & WEAPONS

Yankee Doodle's synthetic body possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and resistance to physical damage. His senses and bionic reflexes are also highly superior to humans. As an electronic entity, Jones is able to manifest as a hologram and control electronic devices. Thanks to the advent of the internet, his capabilities increased infinitely.

HISTORY 

November, 1941. 

Billy Lackington, son of one of the richest men in New York City, decides to use his archery skills to become a modern "Robyn Hode". At first Billy had the help of a group of street kids - Fatso, Shorty and Freckles - who served as his Merry Boys. Robyn and his gang operated out of a secret base hidden in Central Park. 

When Freckles died, Billy disbanded the Merry Boys and joined forces with the vigilante known as The Hood, forming the duo Robyn & the Hood. The duo teamed up with other heroes to form a team called The Outlaws. During World War II, The Outlaws joined all the other heroes of their time to fight the Nazis forming The Battle Squadron. 

After the War, The Outlaws were abducted by the Domain and Billy did not reappear until the early 1980s, when he joined The Tyro Team.
