HISTORY 

Dr. Jackson, Harry's father, created an American champion, the artificial man named Yankee Doodle Jones. Harry became the Dandy and together the two joined the Outlaws, the Battle Squadron or the Crime Smashers. They fought against the Nazis in WWII, against crime and supervillains on the streets of Dynamic City and shared many more adventures. Much later, Harry received the death touch of the Black Hand and Yankee Doodle Jones, seeing the life of his protégé in danger, sacrificed himself so that Harry could live.

Harry's consciousness was transferred to Yankee Doodle Jones' android body. Paradoxically, doing so Harry became virtually immortal. Yankee Doodle Jones' mind also survived, in his case as a disembodied cyber-entity still giving advice to Harry. After a period of adaptation to his new body, Harry resumed his heroic career under the Liberty Man alias, helping found and fund the Young Heroes Alliance, establishing his base of operations at the Liberty Foundation Headquarters in Dynamic City.

Liberty Man dated Danni Miller, daughter of cartoonist detective Pen Miller, and niece of Danny (Djinni) Miller (and heir to the Magic Ring).

HISTORY 

Drew Lane was the son of Professor Winthrop Lane and Geraldine 'Jerry' Kennedy, the daughter of Arlene Louchran and Raymond Kennedy Jr., better known as the former super-villain Radior the X-Ray Powerman. Jerry Kennedy lost her parents and was raised by Chip Foster, aka the Fly. She studied science in college and it was there, in college, where she met Wint Lane, who would be her husband and father of Drew. 

When Drew was still a little boy he lost his mother in strange circumstances, so he was raised by his father alone, with a little help from "Uncle" Chip. The boy grew up and developed special abilities, due to the genetic inheritance of his grandfather. One day, while his father was conducting tests on him, the laboratory was raided by agents of a foreign nation. Davens, Drew's father's lab assistant, had sold them. 

The assailants intended to kidnap the young man. 

To avoid his son being taken away, Wint activated an explosive, killing himself and the criminals, but leaving his son alive. Drew was found by a woman, Myrna, who offered herself to help him, even though she was actually another agent. Myrna led Drew to her leader, the commander of a rogue submarine. They planned to use the atomic power that Drew possessed to take over the world. Drew was forced to use that power to destroy the submarine and thus neutralize the threat. In the wake of these events, Drew made the decision to become the Atom Wizard to honor the memory of his father, fighting the forces of evil. 

Drew joined other sons and descendants of members of the Crime Smashers to form the Young Heroes Alliance. He and his teammate Alana Silversides, aka She-Wolf, began dating shortly after joining the team.

HISTORY 

The Deaglos were a race of birdmen created by the magic of the Black Dragon, an ancient evil sorcerer, and enemy of the adventurer Air Man (on Earth-164). These strange and ferocious creatures were the result of merging demon-bird spirits with Black Dragon's human prisoners. 

The Deaglos retained their human intelligence and speech, but completely lacked free will, being perfect slaves of the Black Dragon. The sorcerer sent his winged army to destroy an Asian nation, but Air Man stopped them when he discovered that the creatures were susceptible to ultrasound. Free from the influence of the Black Dragon, the Deaglos built their Nest-City somewhere in the mountains of the Far East. Nathan Hale, an orphan turned Deaglo, strayed from the flock, being left behind. 

Drake Stevens, using science, tried to reverse Nathan transformation, but the boy was left in an in-between state. Although much more human, Nathan kept the wings and other characteristics more typical of birds. Drake and Jane Stevens welcomed him like a son, something that their real son, Ken, did not like too much, although little by little their relationship became more brotherly. Ken gave him the nickname "Souvenir". Upon reaching adulthood, Nathan joined his "stepbrother" and other sons or heirs of members of The Crime Smashers to form The Young Heroes Alliance. 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

In his current state, Nathan is able to fly thanks to his deaglo wings. He can withstand a tremendous amount of physical damage and heal very quickly, or fly for long periods of time without needing to rest. He also possesses superhuman senses (especially the sense of sight) and, like some birds, he is also capable of detecting the north direction. It's unclear, but he might have the ability to communicate, to some degree, with birds. Nathan Hale was a good fighter, well trained by his foster parents.

HISTORY 

Gale's father, Gregory Leary, was a district attorney in Key City. When Gale was just a baby, his mother, Martha, was murdered and his father was permanently crippled when they were attacked by Bob Evans and Red Brandois, criminals who were being investigated by the Attorney's Office. Evans left a willow twig in the girl's crib as a warning to Greg. Over the years, Gale began to develop strange abilities, which allowed her to avenge the crimes committed against her parents.

Gale, using her powers, confronted Brandois, who mistaking her for the vengeful spirit of her mother, suffered a cardiac arrest and died. Gale laid a willow twig at the foot of his corpse as a gesture of poetic justice. Later, Gale befriended a young man named King. Together they discovered that they were brothers, biological children of the hero Black Diamond and the villainess Killer Plant. King became Black Zero and Gale adopted the name Jill O'Wisp. The two joined other descendants and protégés of members of the Crime Smashers and formed the Young Heroes Alliance, using their powers to fight for justice. 

She and her teammate Matthew Price Jr. (aka Brain Boy) established a romantic relationship.

Among other things, Gale had the ability to shine in a strange light, much like the Will O'The Wisp. Her aura protected her from bullets and seemed to give Gale the ability to repel attackers (possibly telekenesis).

HISTORY 

Bruce King was an engineering student who began to suffer a strange phenomenon: his body seemed to uncontrollably generate a type of wave that produced a series of physical effects: First, the neutralization of heat, resulting in intense cold. Second, a complete and impenetrable darkness, the light totally neutralized. And third, alterations of the gravitational field. Every time his powers were unleashed, chaos took over everything around him. King used his scientific knowledge to create the Black-Zero, a device he used to control his abilities. Looking for the origin of his "affliction" he met Gale O'Leary, a young woman who had also recently discovered his special powers. Together they came to the conclusion that they were brothers, biological children of the hero Black Diamond and the villainess Killer Plant. Bruce designed a suit and became Black-Zero, the King of Darkness, and Gale did the same by assuming the alias of Jill O'Wisp.

King was able to create an area of ​​cold and total darkness where he was the only one able to see. The cold that he could generate was so intense as to quickly incapacitate anyone who wasn't protected or make steel as brittle as glass. HISTORY 

Matthew Price Jr. was actually the son of Mary Jane Jackson (Spitfire Jane) and the alien villain Super-Brain, who inseminated her as an experiment to obtain a hybrid. Mary Jane suffered a mental breakdown and was locked up in a mental institution. There she met Matthew Price Sr., her therapist, with whom she established an extra-professional relationship. Janie decided to continue the pregnancy and shortly after leaving the mental hospital, she and Matt get married. Sadly, before the baby was born, the couple suffered a car accident, crashing into an electrical tower. Matt Price Sr. died instantly, but Mary Jane and her son miraculously survived completely unscathed. She would later know that the baby had unconsciously used his psychic powers to protect her. From his birth, Matt Jr. demonstrated intelligence and learning abilities superior to "normal" children. In addition, over the years, he give new samples of those psychic abilities that had saved his mother and himself when he was still in her womb. Fortunately, the boy was smart enough to hide his powers in public, while in private he was trained (to his mother's displeasure) by his uncle Harry, the adventurer known as Dandy. Harry told the boy the truth about his origin and encouraged him to use his special abilities for the greater good as Brain Boy. On the other hand, in secret, Matt Jr. was contacted by the Organization of Active Anthropologists, actually a front for DANGER, which turned him into a kind of double agent / informant within the superhuman community.

Brain Boy joined other heirs and children of The Crime Smashers members to form The Young Heroes Alliance. Matt and his teammate Gale Leary, aka Jill O'Wisp, became romantically involved.

Brain Boy could read minds, use telekinesis to lift objects or fly himself, control minds, alter emotional states and he was also super intelligent. However, using his powers required a lot of mental energy, especially when he confronted another telepath, and he could quickly become exhausted.

Alana Silversides is of Algonquian descent. 

Her parents were victims of the Wendigo and the little girl was left alone in the woods of Pennsylvania. Miraculously, the girl was adopted and raised by a pack of timberwolves that had escaped extermination by humans. The girl grew wild and something else... 

As if something of the essence of the Wendigo lived in her. 

With the arrival of adulthood she became bolder, approaching populated areas, where she became an urban legend. 

Denny Dunsan, aka Bulldog, investigated that legend and was able to convince the savage creature to accompany him to civilization (not before having a good fight). Dunsan educated the young woman, who displayed an unparalleled hunger... for knowledge. 

To a large extent, she quickly adjusted to civilization, despite her temperament continuing to be savage. 

And when the children and descendants of other members of the Crime Smashers formed the Young Heroes Alliance, Dunsan encouraged her to join them. Alana established a romantic relationship with her teammate, Drew Lane aka Atom Wizard.

Ken and his partner at the group, Miss Savage, fell in love and not long after, the couple got married.

Stevens uses a "gravity belt" to regulate the flow of gravity around him allowing him to fly or lift extremely heavy objects. The suit can also create a g-shield that makes every attack Ken receives virtually laughable.
