HISTORY 

David 'Cat-Man' Merrywether, a US Air Force Colonel, came across Katie Conn, an 11-year-old orphan whom her unscrupulous uncle was using as bait for his robberies. After putting him behind bars, Colonel Merrywether took Katie in as her ward and trained her to turn her into a fighter. Katie graduated first of her class from West Point and after a year of service in Afghanistan she became a SEAL and entered special operations. DANGER, the top secret organization in the United States, laid eyes on her and offered her a position as an undercover agent, codename CATWALK. It was at DANGER that she met Lance Cooper, aka Green Archer, who would become her partner and future husband. After becoming pregnant and suffering a traumatic experience while on a mission, Kat rethinks her entire life. 

She marries Lance and leaves DANGER, dedicating herself to raising her child (and those who would come after) in a quiet residential neighborhood on Long Island.

HISTORY 

Dennis Knight was a wealthy scottish sportsman living in the United States, who inspired by The Green Falcon, a powerful and mysterious knight errant from the times of King Richard, The Lionheart, becomes the Green Knight, a masked vigilante. 

In this identity, Dennis becomes a defender of the helpless and guardian of justice. During a case in the Everglades, Dennis rescues a young man who has been kidnapped by a bloodthirsty vampire and his burly henchman. After saving the boy from the monsters, Dennis Knight adopts him and trains him to become his squire in the fight against crime. The boy was Lance Cooper, who would eventually become the Green Archer, agent of DANGER and member of The Lawmen. Knight himself would go on to work for DANGER, before falling from grace and becoming a mercenary.

HISTORY 

Will Redding was a war veteran who suffered paralysis from injuries received in combat and therefore had to spend most of his time in a wheelchair. This situation plunged him into a deep depression, mainly due to feeling unable to develop a relationship with Bonnie, the nurse who took care of him when he returned from the front line. 

Redding was recruited by the secret government organization DANGER for its special War Eagle program, putting him through intense physical training to strengthen his upper body to the highest level. However, his legs were still paralyzed and that is where the core of the War Eagle program was: an exoskeleton suit that would not only restore the use of his legs and increase his physical strength, but also give him the ability to fly. Will became the patriotic hero War Eagle, first working for DANGER and later as a member of the Lawmen.

HISTORY 

Rusty Ryan was an orphan boy who lived on the streets until the United States entered World War II. He wanted to enlist, but since he was too young he was not accepted into the Army. Then he met John Doe, also known as the Sky Soldier, who took him as his protégé. 

Ryan became the Soldier's teenage companion, and when the Soldier vanished shortly before the end of the war, Rusty felt lost and the Soviets took that as an opportunity to kidnap him and use him in their secret "Proyekt: Koshchey" to create a soulless immortal lethal agent.

HISTORY 

Samson (meaning "man of the sun" in  hebrew) was given supernatural strength by Jehovah in order to combat his enemies and perform incredible feats such as killing a lion with his bare hands, defeating an entire army with only the jawbone of a donkey or destroying the temple of Dagon. Samson had two vulnerabilities, however: his attraction to untrustworthy women and his hair, without which he was powerless. These vulnerabilities ultimately proved fatal for him...

Lance Cooper, also known as the Green Archer, is an extremely skilled agent of DANGER, noted for his use of the bow and arrow as his primary weapon. He was trained by Dennis Knight, aka the Green Knight. Cooper was responsible for recruiting the Crimson Cobra and he is one of the founding members of the LAWMEN.

Lance Cooper is a master marksman and martial artist, as well as being very athletic and agile, capable of performing complex acrobatic maneuvers. Cooper stood out as one of DANGER's best agents, being highly skilled in espionage, intelligence gathering, stealth, infiltration, and sabotage.

Cole Jacobs is the son of the original Grasshopper, a petty criminal who gained the proportional strength, agility and reflexes of the animal from which he took his name. Cole's father never took care of him or his mother, who raised him as she could, completely on her own. 

Although the boy was good-hearted, he began to get into trouble. 

Things didn't get any better when his Grasshopper skills developed.

Marcia Reynolds was an ordinary secretary in Titan City, USA. But within her she harbored untold genetic potential. This potential was discovered by the Brain Lords of Cymradia, one of the oldest extra-terrestrial races, who abducted her and turned her into Specimen Nine of Project: Survival. The Cymradians possessed incredible mental powers and incredibly advanced technology, but their bodies were weak, so they were forced to project their minds onto android bodies (called Synthopoids) to perform the most physical activities. 

The purpose of Project: Survival was to get specimens from different worlds that possessed high genetic potential and boost it, and then use those bodies as a replacement for their own. The Cymradians determined that Marcia was "the prize of prizes" and renaming her 'Futura', they triggered her genetic potential, turning her into a super-being. 

However, as the Cymradian called Mentor had warned, the latent courage that was deep inside the earthling also came to light, leading the other test subjects in a revolt against the Cymradians, finally managing to escape from Cymradia Prime, the planet of the Brain Lords. After various space adventures, Marcia managed to return to Earth, where she was recruited by DANGER's director, Jack Battle, for his extra-normal response team, the Lawmen.

The experiments carried out on Marcia by the Cymradian Brain Lords granted her amazing powers beyond ordinary mortals. Futura's body constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it into energy that she can use for a variety of purposes. First off she is capable of increasing her strength, durability, and stamina to superhuman levels. Futura also possesses the ability to levitate herself and/or others for transportation. She can survive in the vacuum of space without help. She can also channel and project destructive blasts of energy or unleash all of her stored energy in a pseudo-nova blast (so powerful that she only uses it as a last resort). She is also capable of psionically assimilating other languages, an ability that was especially helpful on her space travels.

The Sky Soldier is presumed to be an American serviceman who lost his memory during World War II. The military could not identify him, so they named him "John Doe" and removed him from duty. 

But John Doe kept fighting the Nazis in Europe... 

He returned to combat at the Battle of Dunkirk, in disguise, assisting the Allied forces. He had a partner, Rusty, an orphan young boy who was willing to fight the Nazis. They fought alongside Commander Bill Battle and his Atomic Commandos multiple times. During the war, the Sky Soldier met Captain Patricia Parker and the two fell in love, but he vanished before the end of the war. 

Although Pat waited for his return for a long time, she eventually married and started a family with a former RAF pilot. Not long ago, an amnesiac man wearing the Sky Soldier uniform appeared and was enlisted by Jack Battle (director of DANGER) to lead the Lawmen, a team of individuals with special abilities.

The SCOOT teamed up with Detective Dumbull, whom Sammy had helped retrieve his badge previously. Sam Barton was recruited by Director Battle for the LAWMEN Initiative of the secret agency DANGER.

January, 1962. Scientist-adventurer Jack Kenson was making a sub-orbital flight in an experimental spacecraft of his invention when he was surprised by an abnormal flux of cosmic rays. Chaos broke out in the ship, but after a few minutes everything seemed to return to normal. However, Kenson discovered that his genetic structure had been altered and he began to demonstrate the uncanny ability to alter his size at will. Kenson added crime fighting to his list of occupations, calling himself the Red Comet. 

Later, Jack met Marian Michaels, a singer from Las Vegas, while investigating the criminal group known as the Claw. 

Kenson outfitted Marian with a special suit and, calling herself Black Butterfly, she became his partner in adventures (and his lover). 

After a while, the two got married and soon after were recruited by Jack Battle to become DANGER agents and members of the Lawmen.

Kenson can increase his size at will, easily reaching the proportions of a 20-story building, gaining superhuman strength and endurance in the process. HISTORY 

Leon George, a secret agent of DANGER was sent to the Gold Coast of Africa to investigate the smuggling of uranium in the Magic Mountain deposit, one of the largest in the world. Lenny enlisted the services of a young war orphan named Bernard "Bubba" Mensah as his guide. With his help, Agent George was able to stop the sinister Doctor Sangro and his henchman Brosser. 

However, Sangro managed to escape and swore that he would get revenge on Leon and Bubba. And he made good on his threat. The duo was surprised by a booby trap. Bubba died instantly and Leon was left in a coma. The intervention of a mysterious shaman who infused George with the totemic spirit of the lion managed to bring him back to life. Now endowed with superhuman abilities, he became the Lionheart, ended the Sangro threat for good, and joined the Lawmen.

HISTORY 

When Captain Joseph Preston, a decorated war veteran, is wrongly accused of murder, he ends up hiding from the police in an old abandoned wax museum. Captain Preston discovers that the place is the secret lair of Paracelsus, a celebrated Renaissance physician, alchemist, astrologer and prophet. After discovering the secret of immortality, among many others, Paracelsus faked his own death and began to travel around the world, increasing his knowledge. 

As soon as the centennial alchemist saw Preston, he knew that the veteran was innocent, so he decided to help him, transferring his vast knowledge to him and giving him a magic cloak with which Joseph would become Captain Wizard. After clearing his name, Captain Preston, with the invaluable help of his assistant, Baldwin "Baldy" Bean, set about fighting super threats, primarily of mystical origin, for which he was uniquely gifted. 

The Captain has collaborated with the LAWMEN, and although he is not an official member, for all practical purposes he is considered a de facto member of the team.

HISTORY 

Marian Michaels was a Las Vegas nightclub singer who discovered that a paramilitary group eager for world domination (the Claw) was financing her army with drug money. Fortunately, Marian crossed her path with the scientist-adventurer Jack Kenson (aka Red Comet), who gave her a suit that gave her special abilities, which together with Kenson's own, served to stop the Claw. Kenson and Michaels began an affair and were soon married. 

Shortly after they joined the United States Government initiative known as the Lawmen.

Marian is in exceptional physical condition and has a background in judo and some karate. 

The Black Butterfly costume allows her to fly and launch shocking blasts of light, as well as generate other types of lighting effects to blind or confuse her rivals. 

Kenson later added to the suit the ability to reduce the size of its wearer to the height of an insect, about six inches, while maintaining the same strength and resistance of its original size.

HISTORY 

The Battle family has a tradition serving Uncle Sam. 

The first was Commander Bill Battle, head of the Atomic Commandos and comrade-in-arms of the Sky Soldier during World War II. Commander Battle helped create DANGER. 

Commander Battle's son, Captain Jack Battle fought and lost an eye in Viet-Nam, and stood out as one of the best DANGER operators during the Cold War. As Battlemaster he was in charge of assembling the team of superhumans known as the LAWMEN, directing them from the offices (and sometimes accompanying them on the battlefield). 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

All Battle men are born leaders, master tacticians, expert combatants and deadly marksmen. They are highly skilled in espionage, stealth, disguise, and infiltration. Jack Battle used a jetpack, which allowed him to fly at speeds of at least 100 mph, and seems to have a range limited only by Battle's own endurance.  Jack's "Disolvo Gun" was a short range handgun weapon that can loosen molecular bonds, causing any kind of  matter to melt. Battle generally won't use it on human opponents, the reason why he carried a Desert Eagle as first weapon.
